“Affordable Act” Will Force Smokers To Pay Up To $5,100 Penalty, One Top Of Premiums

Now that the Federal Government has taken the power to force citizens to purchase a product, it can use it to control your behavior or punish you with exorbitant fines.
Smokers buying individual policies up to 50 percent higher premiums starting Jan. 1, 2014. A 55-year-old smoker could pay a penalty of $4,250 a year. A 60-year-old could wind up paying nearly $5,100 on top of premiums.
