Former Israeli paratrooper Avner Gvaryahu, now an activist with Breaking The Silence explains to Green Left Weekly’s Peter Boyle how 850 former Israeli soldiers have given testimony about the gross injustices against the Palestinian people they have witnessed and made to participate in as part of Israel’s military occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. He was visiting Australia to promote the book “Our Harsh Logic” (Scribe Publications).

  1. We can hope tomorrow the UN will vote to make Palestine a observing member of the UN making every action Israel makes in this manner illegal under UN law punishable by economic sanctions almost as bad as the ones they put on Palestine.

  2. I live in a country that is so proud of getting rid of segregation more than 50 years ago, however we support against better judgment a country that not only supports segregation, but mass genocide. I’m curious as to why we let this stand?

  3. Oops sorry, wrong post forgive me. Keep up the good work, the Jewish people must join mankind by rebelling against there rabbis that teach Jewish supremacism and the idea that only Jews have souls, while the rest of us are mere animals. Once again I apologize. “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

  4. Ha Ha!! You deleted my comment, you Jews are something else. You don’t believe free speech? “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” – Jesus Christ -
