Mexican media tycoon Carlos Slim and white devil at large and eugenicist Bill Gates prepare to inaugurate the new research complex of the International Center for Improvement of Corn and Wheat, or CIMMYT in Spanish, at Texcoco, State of Mexico.
The investment in infrastructure so far has ascended to 25 million dollars, a pittance, compared to the amounts that this pair reap from the unsuspecting public, and will allegedly help researchers accelerate the production of seed through genetic “improvement”, increase its tolerance to heat and drought “among other traits”.
CIMMYT was the cradle of the Green Revolution in the 60′s and is now poised to fast forward its genetics research.
