The lies of Obama, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, Sens. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) regarding Cybersecurity.
November 16, 2012 in Politics
The current Cybersecurity bill proposed by Sens. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) is being touted with false propaganda and scare tactics. They state this is to help protect “critical infrastructure” and this is a critical need because attacks are certain which is intentionally misleading and a completely ridiculous statement. The reason is common sense. How illogical would it be to connect power plants, sub stations, power grids, water treatments plants, and so forth to the Internet? Elements this critical if even connected to a network are never connected to the Internet. If the goal really was to protect critical infrastructure, it would be better to assign the NSA the task of sharing information with US business and the public to better educate them. Education would be far more effective and cost the US Tax payers significantly less.

On 11/14/2012 this was shot down a second time by the Senate.
Than on the same day Obama feeling he knows more than the Senate decides he will pass parts he wants with yet another Executive Order.
