Well, the New York Times is at it again. This time they lend its ‘Opinion Realty’ for an Op-Ed by a Member of the Muslim Brotherhood. With all the lunacy chatter on the Left about how the Media is “Normalizing Trump” or “Normalizing White Supremacy” or “Normalizing Racism, Sexism, Xenophobia, etc”; I think it’s fair to describe this Op-Ed in the Times as “Normalizing Terrorism”. However, by the NY Times enabling the Muslim Brotherhood to spread its propaganda, this also is normalizing the Brotherhood’s goal of ‘Civilization Jihad’ in America.

This Op-Ed is written by a Member of the Muslim Brotherhood, so obviously the author paints the Brotherhood as holier-than-thou. Here is an example of the author’s attempts to fool you, while ignoring a major ‘accusation’ that the Brotherhood has strong ties to Hamas:

We have long heard that violent groups were “spawned” by the Muslim Brotherhood or were our “offshoots.” This is wildly misleading. In the cases where people did leave the Muslim Brotherhood to embrace violence, they did so specifically because they found no path in our philosophy, vision of society or movement for such extremism. A great many of these extremists — if not all — consider us apostates and politically naïve. This is not an issue as simple as distaste for our political naïveté, but is in fact recognition that our philosophy renders their extremist ideology irrelevant.

Over the years, it has been well-documented by the FBI and experts that the Brotherhood has ties with Hamas. The 2008 Holy Land Foundation Terror Funding Trial provided immense insight into the ties between Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. In this 2008 terrorism case, the Holy Land Foundation was found guilty on all 108 counts. The government was able to prove that the Foundation funneled money through the Muslim Brotherhood to Hamas terrorists. Paul Sperry, a Hoover Institute Media Fellow, over at CounterJihad has a great breakdown of the Holy Land case and the Muslim brotherhood. The Clarion Project provides the highlights of the court documents from the Holy Land Trial, and how it portrays Muslim Brotherhood’s treacherous ambitions.

The Op-Ed itself is not as important as the fact that the NY Times decided it was a good idea to run this Opinion piece. As the court documents illustrate, I assume the NY Times unwittingly engaged in “Normalizing” Civilization Jihad.

The general strategic goal of the Group in America which was approved by the Shura Council and the Organizational Conference for the year (1987) is Enablement of Islam in North America, meaning: establishing an effective and a stable Islamic Movement led by the Muslim Brotherhood which adopts Muslims’ causes domestically and globally, and which works to expand the observant Muslim base, aims at unifying and directing Muslims’ efforts, presents Islam as a civilization alternative, and supports the global Islamic State wherever it is.

The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers…”

“[W]e must possess a mastery of the art of ‘coalitions’, the art of ‘absorption’ and the principles of ‘cooperation.’”

In order for the Muslim Brotherhood to complete their covert ‘Civilization Jihad’, it would probably be a good idea not to be designated a terrorist organization. This Op-Ed is a desperate play because they know the end could be near for them here in America. The Brotherhood knows that America can not be easily defeated by force or will power, so ‘Civilization jihad’ is there best chance for success, especially with all the ‘Virtue Signaling’ going around these days. The New York Times basically threw the Brotherhood a lifeline, an attempt to push a propaganda piece in hopes that Trump would change his mind on the terrorist designation.

Mark Levin nailed this on Monday on his radio show, that the ‘NY Slimes’ (nickname Mark uses) is and has been anti-Semitic. The ‘NY Slimes’ proved his point by Wednesday. The Muslim Brotherhood, demonstrated by Morsi’s rhetoric, is vehemently anti-Semitic. He once referred to Jews as the ‘Sons of Apes and Pigs’. So maybe that is why the Times could see past the Terrorist ties stuff and connect on the anti-Semitic stuff.

‘Civilization jihad’ as like a slow death over decades of time, as opposed to the violent jihad which would be a far quicker death for western civilization. It is not hard to rally a nation against violent jihad, but when jihad takes on a stealth form and utilizes American institutions, customs, values and freedoms to wage war against Her, it can be far more difficult for the vast majority of the public to see the Jihad to fight against.
