November 7, 2012. With yesterday’s General Election finally over and more than 95 percent of the vote counted, here is a recap of how the top 29 Presidential candidates finished. All parties’ nominees are included. At first glance, it’s safe to say 2012 was a disappointing year for independent and third party Presidential hopefuls. But on the other hand, dozens of local, state and federal independent and third party candidates did surprisingly well.
