Thus, he brought expertise in the nascent field of arthroscopic shoulder surgery to South India.

Having delivered many guest lectures at various international conferences, Dr. Bose had also performed the live surgical demonstrations in the knee, hip and shoulder surgeries all over Asia. Presently, he works as a consultant hip and shoulder surgeon at Apollo speciality Hospital, Chennai and offers a referral based service for the complex joint problems. Being a part of the Asia Pacific hip resurfacing lead group, Dr. Bose frequently travels to the Asia Pacific countries to help the local surgeons in hip resurfacing.
