Actually I think that it is sad, that the mainline media has demonized guns so much that now even police aren’t allowed to have guns. And of course we hope that these are good police, and not part of the UN collective.
I agree that is too funny. If they are not there on an official call, why do they need a gun. Besides, if guns are not allowed inside, what could possibly happen? The no gun sign would keep out the bad element right? Why should they be any different, the law is the law. Lead by example, you will get more respect.
