I’d be really careful about responding to posts like this. Sounds a little like big brother trolling for info on illegal weapons to me.

  3. From ATF website:
Does the GCA prohibit anyone from making a handgun, shotgun or rifle?

With certain exceptions a firearm may be made by a non-licensee provided it is not for sale and the maker is not prohibited from possessing firearms. However, a person is prohibited from assembling a non-sporting semi-automatic rifle or non-sporting shotgun from imported parts. In addition, the making of an NFA firearm requires a tax payment and approval by ATF. An application to make a machine gun will not be approved unless documentation is submitted showing that the firearm is being made for a Federal or State agency.

  4. You might want to take this up with the ATF before you start manufacturing your own firearms. I have a good feeling it might violate the National Firearms Act, making it a felony.

    • I wish to retract some of that. I guess you can make your own guns as long as the are NFA legal.

    • Ditto… Go to atf.gov and become licensed and registered to manufacture firearms before you start tinkering. I also hope you have some advanced understanding of strength of materials, machining and mathematics before you blow your own face off – jeez…

  5. I know you could build a 12 gauge with plumber piping :) idk how though
