We advocate the American system of political economy taught by Alexander Hamilton, Friedrich List, Henry Clay, and Henry Carey. We increase the productivity of labor through scientific research, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy production, and education. The increased productivity will allow us to close the trade and budget deficits. A safety net is provided so people don’t fall through the cracks.

Student loans will go up on July 1st from 3.4% to 6.8%. The Warren-Tierney bill, S. 897 and H.R. 1979, will reduce it to 0.75% using money from the Federal Reserve. This will help restart the economy. Servicing the approximately one-trillion dollars in student loans is a drag on the economy.
