Some time ago, I decided to present my studies to one of the doctors at our local medical center.

I just came in asking for a doctor (I didn't have an appointment) and asked if I could plug my USB into one of their computers and open the document ”Formaldehyde in the Vaccine INFANRIX hexa”.

In the document, was a link to the PDF of the vaccine.
Formaldehyde was one of the ingredients, but the PDF didn’t say how much.

From what I’ve found, the average mass of an adult is between 54 – 64 kg for a male adult, and 76 – 83 kg for females.

A baby weighs between 2.7 kg – 4 kg

The Formaldehyde exposure limit, according to the ATSDR (Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease Registry), is derived to be 0.04 ppm, which would be 20 times less for a male baby.
Compared to a male adult, the MRL of a baby (male) would be below 0.02 ppm.

54 kg (Male adult) / 2.7 kg (Male baby) = 20 times less than an adult.

0.04 ppm (The ATSDR's Formaldehyde exposure limit) / 20 = 0.002

And by my calculations, the Formaldehyde LOAEL (Lowest Observed Adverse Effect Level) of the OSHA (“Occupational Safety & Health Administration”), which is 0.75 ppm, would be 0.0375 ppm for a male baby.

The company has a number to call for medical information and reporting adverse health events, but they won’t give this information to anyone who isn’t a medicare professional.

So I went to our local medical center, to ask someone to request the information that GSK didn’t include on the product PDF. That is, the amount of formaldehyde in their vaccine “INFANRIX hexa”.
