The above quote seems like one of the most logical comic quotes of all time. The logic is so very obvious that even a child could understand it, and yet it seems that the greedy leaders of Italy have not. Interesting, however, after the fall of Italy in 1945, what would have stopped a poor, armed Italian family from moving into a large estate with a nice house and enough land to grow more food than the family could consume? With no functioning government goons around, and no armed resistance, what would keep someone from trading up to a nicer place? This could be true for almost any country after a devastating war. Even here?
