How Does A Christian Nation Overlook This?

Proverbs 22:7
King James Version (KJV)
“The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”
America has been burred in debt to China and associated banks. But since most the debt really isn’t legitimate I’ll choose to continue being a free man.
Proverbs 17:18
Good News Translation (GNT)
“Only someone with no sense would promise to be responsible for someone else’s debts.”

We the people will say no! Then the fight begins.

You can have almost any system you like; as long as you do it under God. By that I mean if everyone in your system is a Godly person your community will be blessed. America has failed because we turned away from God to watch what Satan has on the TV. The Bible warns us about money because God understand evil and it’s harmful effects.

As far as I’m concerned the Bible is an indictment against capitalism. It’s as clear as day.

Maybe so but overall it’s really an indictment against “the world”. I tend to lean towards capitalism as the best model for our current state of society but I’m sure there are better ways. It’s really monopolies that ruin capitalism and also the bankers that intentionally devalue our dollar.

yeah, the point of the Bill of Rights is to arrest run-away power because of man’s tendency towards corruption. no protection has been defined within the ‘ideology’ of capitalism… the opposite is true in fact. ‘capitalism’ is just an ideology which is applied to a market economy, and thus –society.
It [capitalism] has prevented people like the Obama phone lady from seizing power… but … it hasn’t prevented evil, but has fed it. Poverty is run amuck. imo it is obscene that some people use one or two Bible verses to justify this form of slavery.
–just my opinion, take it with a pinch of salt. I’m not shoving any ideology on you. I agree with what you said, just have a slightly different perspective on it.

It certainly is a complex subject. I wonder what’s the best system for the future if we manage to continue innovation improving and build a super efficient society. With so much technological capabilities it wouldn’t be necessary for people carry out many jobs. Also if we weren’t so wasteful and built things to last that would mean somewhat less industry. No need to prop up an artificial economy either. I guess the best would then be a “productive economy” where our nation’s worth is based off how productive we the people are. Gotta try to better our education system and let people realize their valuable without spoiling them. There’s a lot of promise in the future if it’s presently handled corrected. Just have to secure individual freedoms and build as many walls against tyranny as possible. America definitely needs to get its sovereignty back because empires always end bad and I don’t wanna witness how bad a global empire ends. lol I’m ranting, it’s currently beyond me what will work best. Anything but the eugenicists plot of massive human extermination sounds good to me.
