Lighting the Torch
December 6, 2012 in Activism
I speak to you,
Rough-shodden
Down trodden.
Will you wear it?
A symbol of merit.
You cannot hide
The flame inside…
I speak to you,
Disenchanted,
Taken for granted.
Will you bear it?
This mess you inherit.
Don’t you fight it,
Time to light it…
For whilst many may bear the flame,
Only few can light the torch.
