I wanted to share my efforts to broadcast recently in Connecticut, and to urge people to remain composed and rational. It seems as though the hysteria, even here, is less intense than portrayed in mass media, and people are reluctant to support radical alterations of the law and society and understand our unique political and cultural traditions warrant preservation (and many I speak to would consider themselves liberal/progressive).
I typically do a weekly broadcast on 91.7FM (WHUS) in Connecticut, and focus on issues such as the militarization of police and federal agencies, the massive military expeditions and the standing armed forces and armaments industry associated with them, as well as the excesses and destructive behavior of financiers and bankers and how those issues are linked.
